Season Opener Preview: Singapore Part 1

The Singapore Merlion is working hard to get ready for their season opener, against the Thai National team in Bangkok on March 1oth. In their first meeting against one another back in 2011, Singapore defeated Thailand in a 10-9 nail bitter. Despite being out numbered in players, the talents on the Singapore squad proved to be enough to squeezed by team Thailand. Singapore took the friendly trophy back to with them, as they continue to work on lacrosse development in the land of Merlion. Since then, Singapore had gained several more players, and developed more grass root players to fill their mostly ex patriot roster. Also a new addition to Singapore lacrosse are the new managerial personal: Dylan Carter, and Ed Burnam who help organized the weekend practice, and equipments management.
